It’s Inbound 2015, and this year it will be held Sept. 8–11 at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center.
If you and members of your team are going (and your team should go if they’re responsible for inbound marketing strategy), you will want to attend these five “do not miss” sessions:
1. How Google Drives a Culture of Innovation, presented by Todd Rowe, Google’s managing director
Innovation might be one of the most overused buzz words of the year. But if there’s one company that truly understands what it means and how to inspire it among employees, it’s Google. Spend 45 minutes learning from a marketing professional who is responsible for one of the world’s fastest growing and most admired companies. This session is Thursday, Sept. 10, from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m.
2. Hacks, Tips & Tricks — How Buy Buttons are Reshaping eCommerce, present by Craig Miller, Shopify’s CMO
Inbound marketing changes like the weather in the Midwest, which means you have to be constantly changing your inbound marketing strategy. Craig Miller is at the tip of the spear when it comes to anticipating changes in eCommerce. He’ll tell you about how Shopify finds new ways to reach potential customers. He’ll talk about why buy buttons matter. He’ll even discuss discovery vs. search. And he’ll do it in a practical, actionable way. This session is Wednesday, Sept. 9 from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m.
3. How to Effectively Use Twitter to Elevate Your Marketing Strategy, presented by Michael Griffin, senior implementation specialist at HubSpot
Twitter has emerged as an incredibly powerful tool when it comes to your inbound marketing strategy, and HubSpot has figured out how to leverage it to engage customers and generate fresh leads. 4. How the Smartest Companies are Using Big Data to Power Better Integrated Marketing and Communications, presented by Aaron Strout, president of WCG
WCG is one of the most well-respected, full-service agencies in the world because it takes a distinctly unconventional approach to, well, everything it does! And it uses the best analytics available. Big data is driving decisions at every level of all the smartest companies, and Aaron Strout has a seat at the table when those decisions are being made. He’s going to share real-world stories about the data, the decisions and what your organization can do to do the same. This session is Wednesday, Sept. 9 from 4:45 to 5:30 p.m.
