Outcomes > Goals
While goals are important in business, as are clear objectives, they’re not the most important part of your business’ strategy.
Don’t get us wrong… goals are important, but they are not the REAL end-game for “why” you do what you do and how you do it. No, the real “why” is derived from your business outcomes.
For example, business goals are usually tied to a measurable and quantifiable metric… revenue, units, etc. Objectives are how you’re going to get to those goals. When you think about outcomes, these will usually tie into “why” the goals are important to you.
Perhaps your desired outcome is to one day sell your business, or perhaps pass it down to another generation. Maybe your objective is to just continue to be able to do what you love. Whatever that outcomes or set of outcomes are, we help you connect with those.
